Jesse Gill, Director
Jaspal (Jesse) Gill is an experienced tax professional and business owner with over 30 years of experience in taxation, auditing, financial management, and regulatory compliance. He spent more than 20 years with the Canada Revenue Agency, where he worked as a Tax Auditor and later as an Audit Quality Officer, reviewing complex financial matters and ensuring compliance with federal tax legislation and audit standards. His extensive experience has given him a strong understanding of financial management, legislation, policy, and the importance of protecting confidential information.
Jesse has also demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills through his involvement with the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC), where he served in various executive roles, including President, Vice President, and Treasurer, from 2000 to 2016. In these roles, he worked closely with senior management, organized annual general meetings, supported members, and provided leadership on a variety of organizational matters. Since 2016, Jesse has operated Highbury Tax Solutions, assisting individuals and corporations with tax filings, audits, appeals, tax disputes, and negotiations with government agencies. He also previously owned and operated a residential construction company, overseeing the development and construction of homes throughout the Lower Mainland.
With his extensive background in finance, taxation, governance, leadership, and business, Jesse is enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring his knowledge and experience to Normanna as a member of its Board of Directors. He looks forward to contributing his skills and supporting the organization’s continued success and future growth.
